Confidence, self-belief and empowerment through style.

By Victoria Hamilton

Identity & Style Coach at Victoria Hamilton Lifestyle

It’s no secret – the media has an incredibly negative impact on the way we view ourselves, and others. We’ve all got things we like to wear, things we’d LOVE to wear and things we think we could never wear.

When we hit a certain age, many feel like they’ve lost their identity. A change in body shape, illness, childbirth or something else – but that doesn’t mean we can’t rediscover who we were, and love who we are now.

Victoria Hamilton is the champion of change, your cheerleader-in-chief helping women (and men!) find their confidence, embrace their style and feel empowered.

With a background in HR, recruitment and training, Victoria climbed the ladder fast. But after her second child, she realised her work-life balance was all wrong. Without feeling present, she began to question her own identity. Mum? Wife? Employee?

She left her job, forcing herself to reevaluate and take the next step forward. This was when she realised she’d lost her identity along the way.

Refinding her own confidence was the first step. Then she went on a training course that lit the fuse on what would become her future.

"I realised that I wasn’t alone. People everywhere are struggling to be 100% confident, improve their self-esteem and put themselves at #1 again. It’s not selfish to want better well-being for ourselves. When you achieve it, you’re letting everyone else get the best version of you too."

Launching into the world of personal styling, Victoria was giving new confidence to people who felt they needed support in rediscovering their style and confidence.

The personal service is built around helping busy people find time for themselves, curate a new wardrobe that matches their style and helps them feel comfortable not just “now and then”, but every day. With a rising mental health crisis, this is more important than ever. |

But this has never been about just the colours that suit people – it’s the layers underneath the clothes too. After completing an ICF-accredited life coaching course, Victoria’s service has transitioned from personal styling to identity and style coaching on a much deeper level.

"What you wear has a direct correlation to how you feel. Not only that, but I want every woman to be able to look in the mirror and love what they see."

Spark a conversation

Born in Maesteg, Wales, and growing up on the coast in Porthcawl, Victoria is a massive rugby fan. With an English husband and fellow rugby fan, match days can cause a little bit of tension at home.

But when it’s off-season, the next best thing is a trip anywhere with a beach, sunsets and rose wine (preferably in Greece).

The best piece of business advice that’s helped Victoria

“When I started out I didn’t realise what my business really was, I just knew what I wanted to do. I went in blind thinking it was all going to be wonderful and that I could do it alone.

But building a support network that help you navigate every facet of business ownership that a new business owner might not really anticipate was vital.

It’s pushed me to where I am now, encourages me to grow and makes the whole process so much easier.”
